JC OL commits on visit

Highland (Kan.) Community College offensive lineman Mike Weiner made his first official visit this weekend. He surprised himself by going ahead and committing.
"I was at K-State this weekend," the 6-foot-5, 260-pound Weiner said. "I went ahead and committed. I really didn't think I would when I was there. I was going to take all of my trips first. I just decided it was the place for me for sure."

The most attractive thing about the visit was the winning program and his brother, Todd, having played there. "They've got a winning program. Every year they are winning. Also Todd had a great time while he was there. Things worked out well for him there."
Weiner chose K-State over Florida, Oklahoma, Houston and Central Florida.
