JC OL cancels other trips

Highland (Kan.) Community College offensive lineman Michael Weiner did visit Houston this past weekend. How did things go?
"The visit was alright," Weiner said. "I had promised them down there I would come. I gave them my word. I had to go. I wanted to cancel it, but I had to keep my word.

"I'm all done now. No doubt. I'm going to K-State. I've cancelled my other two trips. I was going to Arizona and to Florida. But I have called and cancelled them."
While in Houston, Weiner had hoped to check out K-State quarterback recruit Vincent Young. "I have heard a lot about him. We were planning on going to the game in the Astrodome to see him, but it didn't work out with the schedule of the things they had planned for us. I saw in the paper the next morning he had put on a show. I think K-State feels good about their chances. If they can get him in there for a visit like he says he will I think the chances are good."
