JC LB solid with commitment
Garden City (Kan.) Community College linebacker Derrick Pope committed to Alabama several weeks ago.
"I'm sure Derrick is committed to Alabama," Garden City head coach Bob Larson said. "He has been planning that for quite a whle."
Larson said he hadn't heard some of the latest rumors that Pope was looking around. "I know for a fact he did not take any trips this past weekend."
