JC DT will sign in February

Butler County (Kan.) Community College defensive tackle Jermaine Berry did not sign a letter of intent on Dec. 19 as previously expected.
“Jermaine will be back here in the spring semester,” Butler coach Troy Morrell said. “He has a little class work to finish up first before he can graduate. We thought he was going to get it done last semester but it didn’t happen.”
But the plans for Berry remain the same. “He’ll sign with K-State on Feb. 6 and head up there for the start of fall drills. The school hasn’t changed, just the date he’s going to sign on.”
