JC All-American taking two trips before deciding

Harper (Ill.) College defensive tackle Malcolm Wooldridge made his two official visits last month and plans two more for January.
“I’ve taken two trips to Indiana and to Kansas State," the 6-foot-3, 305-pound Wooldridge said. “Both schools are a good situation for me. But I want to make all of my visits before I make a choice.”

A Jan. 17 trip to North Carolina and a Jan. 24 trip to Tennessee will round out Wooldridge’s calendar.
“I am wanting to find out what is all out there for me at these schools, then we’ll find the best place for me.”
Wooldridge, a Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. native, attended Hargrave Military Academy out of high school and then signed with USC.
"I ran into some academic problems at USC and needed to get a change. This change to Harper has done me a lot of good. It has shown me that I need to work on the grades thing and do my work. I'm not going to be handed grades just because I'm a good football player. That's the way it had been all along and now I see that it is done differently when you're at this level."
Wooldridge earned first-team All-American honors this season for his play at defensive tackle for Harper College.
