Jayhawks only school for JC punter
Blinn (Texas) College punter Lance Lane has focused on one school as the early signing period for mid-year graduates nears it’s ending date.
“I am looking at Kansas,” the 5-foot-10, 180-pound Lane said. “I talked to them early this week. They are going to get me called back when the quiet period is over. We are going to discuss the possibility of having me visit.”

Lane is looking at a possible mid-January visit.
“I will talk with them and see if they do want me to visit,” he said. “That is a good situation. They are needing a punter. I’m excited to hear what they have to say when we talk.”
If things don’t work out with the Jayhawks, Lane sees himself waiting until the end of the spring semester to find a school.
“I’ll probably wait until May and see what comes around. Some other options could come around if I just wait.”
