Jax Fla. Athlete looking North

Danny Bell, a Rivals.com three-star prospect, did all he could do for a struggling Jacksonville (Fla.) Andrew Jackson team that went 6-4 in the regular season. The 6-foot-3 and 200 pound standout projects as either a wide receiver or safety in college. This yeas as a high school senior, he saw most of his time lining up as a running back where he totaled 889 yards on 125 carries and 14 touchdowns. He also caught 11 passes for an amazing 400 yards.
Now that Bell's high school football career is over, he's ready to focus on his recruitment.

"I have visits up for Illinois (12/13), South Florida (1/10) and OleMiss (1/25)," Bell, who was selected all-state in basketball as a junior, said.
Illinois, his current leader, just paid him an in-home visit, and it went well.
"Coach Cassidy wa here," he said. "It was a great visit. He told me about the personal tutors at Illinois, and he talked about early playing time for me at wide receiver."
Bell, who is leaning heavily towards the University of Illinois, is looking for early playing time.
"Illinois is my favorite because their coaches want me for wide receiver," he said. "They have four seniors that are graduating this year. Three of those four that are graduating probably will get drafted high in the draft. I also like the fact that they run a pro-style offense. Illinois head coach Ron Turner is the brother of the Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Norv Turner."
Expect the Rivals.com No. 49 rated player in Florida to possibly commit shortly after his December 13 visit to Illinois.
