Jasmin grabs two more offers

Chase Jasmin landed two new offers on Wednesday as the Westlake Village (Calif.) Westlake running back continues to expand his options.
The three-star prospect has been talking a lot with the San Diego State coaching staff and they finally decided to offer. With Oregon State, Jasmin's coach recently headed to Corvallis, showed those coaches his film and the Beavers are now in the mix as well.

"I've been talking to SDSU for a little while now actually for about a month," Jasmin said. "They said they saw my film and they liked me but they were kind of waiting to see if I showed interest in the school. I did and they finally gave me that offer.
"I just got off the phone with the Oregon State coach (Wednesday) morning. My head coach went up there and visited and showed them my film and they liked it a lot. The head coach saw it and they decided to offer me."
So far, the Westlake running back has been offered by those two schools along with Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, San Jose State, Washington, Washington State and Wyoming.
Kansas State had been showing interest in Jasmin but the three-star said the Wildcats have backed off in recent weeks. He's planning to attend USC spring practice on Thursday and talk to some coaches to gauge their interest level.
As for favorites, Jasmin said it's still too early especially with more offers coming in all the time.
"Right now I don't really have any favorites because they're still coming in," Jasmin said. "Once spring ball comes around I'll have a more decisive top three. I'm just taking it all in. I don't want to make any clear-cut decisions before I have all my options."
In his junior season, Jasmin rushed for 1,413 yards and 13 touchdowns on 157 carries.
