Jarrett will take officials

When Kyshoen Jarrett learned that Dave Wannstedt was stepping aside as Pitt's head coach he was shocked and that's putting it mildly.
The four-star cornerback from East Stroudsburg (Pa.) South said he would wait until after Pitt's bowl game before he made a decision on whether to de-commit or stick with the Panthers.

While he is still verbally committed to Pitt, he's searching for information on what Pitt's plans are in just about all of his free time. In the meantime he's also exploring other options.
"I'm trying to search around to figure out what's next and who's going to be there," Jarrett said. "I'm definitely going to start taking some officials. I'm going to talk to schools about that tomorrow. I'll see when good times to visit are. If I was to de-commit then hopefully I would have a decision by Signing Day. If not then we'll see.
"I think I'm taking one (official visit) to Illinois. I've been talking to Virginia Tech and Wisconsin, kind of. I've talked to Tennessee, so we'll see how that goes. I've talked to Rutgers and Connecticut. I have to save one (official visit) for Pitt so I have to make some decisions soon."
Jarrett said he will probably set his official visit to Illinois tomorrow when he speaks with the coaches from the school. He does not have any dates in mind.
