Jarrett still likes four

San Marcos (Calif.) Mission Hills defensive lineman Jamaar Jarrett has been consistent with his top hanful of schools since the early summer. The lineman is still waiting to set up his visits but he does have a good idea of where his trips will be.
Jarrett, 6-5, 240 pounds is one of the top line prospects in the West this year. He plays on the edge but could play anywhere on the defensive line in college.

When we talked with Poway tight end Ryan Deehan a week ago, the Titans had just played Jarrett and the Grizzlies winning in a tough, hard fough 7-6 win.
"Jarrett is very strong," Deehan told us. "I had to go up against him a few times and he's a very good player. He's big, moves well and like I said, he's a strong kid."
On the recruiting front, Jarrett has listed Michigan, Cal, Oregon and Nebraska as his leaders and that remains the case.
"I definitely want to visit all those schools," Jarrett said. "Michigan has been recruiting me the hardest for a long time and I like Coach English a lot. I like Cal a lot too, those are the two that have always made me feel like they want me.
"Oregon and Nebraska are strong programs and offerd me early in the process as well. I'm not sure if I'll even take a 5th visit right now so for now, I'm just going to keep that last one open. After all my visits, then I'll sit down with my coach and family and decide where the best place for me is."
