New Brunswick (N.J.) wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett has made his decision. Jarrett had narrowed his list to Virginia, Ohio State, Southern Cal. Which school landed the dynamic athlete?
"I am going to Southern Cal," said the 6-foot-5, 205 pound wide out who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds.
What made the difference for Jarrett?
"I liked the staff a lot. Coach Carroll is a great guy. The team was great too and I love the area. I just like everything they do out there. I love having the opportunity to compete for National Championship every year and I like their history as well. I grew up cheering for Keyshawn Johnson and I have great deal of respect for Mike Williams."
Early on Jarrett said that distance would be a factor in his decision but in the end he chose the school farthest away.
I thought distance was going to play a factor but after talking to Coach Carroll and Mike Williams I felt a lot more comfortable. I will not be able to just come at any school I choose, so I just took the distance factor out of the equation and went with my gut feeling."
Jarrett, a four-star prospect, is the No. 2 ranked athlete in the nation.
