Running back LaMichael James already holds three scholarship offers, but with the way things are going, he says more could be around the corner.
The 5-foot-9, 180-pounder added his first offers from Houston, Oklahoma State, and Tulsa. James says that he's heard from an SEC school and they could be next on the board. Two schools are also at the top of list as early favorites.
"I hear Arkansas may be in the business of offering next," James said. "I don't know about that for sure yet. It's just everything. I talk to them on a regular basis. It's not everyday, but I'd say two or three days out of the week I talk coach Bobby Allen."
James has already been on an unofficial visit to Oklahoma State. He says that the Cowboys have a leg up on the rest with Houston not far behind.
"It's just the chemistry I have with the coach, coach (Curtis) Luper," James said. "I talk to them just about everyday and it seems like they want me bad. Houston is right up there too. I just like the city of Houston. I'm going to Houston on Friday and I'll know more about favorites.
"OSU is up there because that's the only school I've been to."
After the trip to Houston, James says he'll head to Oklahoma State again and also to Arkansas in the month of April.
"If nothing else comes up before the summer, and I've taken all my visits, I should know," he said about a commitment. "I don't want to wait it out, I just want to get it over with unless something comes up late."
