Though Cleveland (Ohio) Benedictine running back Jahmal Brown doesn't have any big-time scholarship offers, he does have a nice list of schools that have shown interest. And Brown does have five schools that stand out led by Ohio State.
"I went on the camp tour with coach (Ted) Ginn," Brown said. "On the tour I went to 10 camps.
"Before the tour I went to Toledo. Then after the tour I went to the Ohio State's senior camp. I did 12 all together.
"I like Pitt, Ohio State, Illinois, Iowa, and Bowling Green. Ohio State's my favorite."
The 5-foot-10 and 190-pound Brown rushed for 1849 yards and scored 21 times during his junior season, averaging close to eight yards per carry. He also made 105 tackles and picked off five passes from his safety spot.
