"I liked Coach Schiano, he was cool, but all the other coaches are good guys too," he said. "I know I'll be ok.
"I'm cool with the people coming in and I feel comfortable."
Jacobs has been in touch with his recruiter, Jeff Hafley.
"Coach Hafley let me know what's going on and he just told me everything is going to be ok."
Jacobs noted he had heard from Connecticut and Illinois, but maintains he is set to sign with Rutgers on National Signing Day.
"I've talked to a couple other kids, Chris (Muller) and others and they are staying too."
