Jacobs returns from SEC trip

Seth Jacobs had been looking forward to his visit to Arkansas this past weekend for a long time and the Razorbacks definitely did not disappoint.
The four-star outside linebacker from Arroyo Grande, Calif., said he had a great time in Fayetteville and he'll continue to strongly look at Arkansas as a contender in his recruitment.

Still, Jacobs wants to take other visits and doesn't plan to make his commitment for a while, possibly waiting until National Signing Day.
"Arkansas was great," Jacobs said. "I had a really good time. It's a neat place. People are crazy about their football and there's no professional team down in the state so it's really Razorback Nation down there.
"The atmosphere was awesome. It was really nice. I've never experienced such a loud stadium and it was a really good game so the whole trip was really good. It was a really fun trip."
So far, Jacobs has taken official visits to Arizona State and Arkansas and the 6-foot-2, 205-pound recruit said both places will remain under consideration.
"It's a possibility I can go there," Jacobs said of Arkansas. "I liked it, I enjoyed it and I could see myself possibly going there.
"I had a good visit. I have relatives in Tulsa so that's not an issue. It's a great opportunity if I did go there and I have a great opportunity if I go to Arizona State as well so we'll see."
After the season, Jacobs said he will definitely visit Oregon, which has been recruiting him harder in recent weeks. His two other visits have not been scheduled but Jacobs said he plans to take them before making his pledge.
In total, Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Cal, Colorado, Northwestern, Oregon, Oregon State, SMU, UCLA, Washington and Washington State have offered. Rivals.com rates him No. 23 at outside linebacker in the 2012 class and No. 38 in the California state rankings.
