Seth Jacobs is taking his time with the recruiting process and only has one official visit scheduled for the season so the Arroyo Grande, Calif., outside linebacker is in no rush to make his decision.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound four-star prospect will take a trip to Arkansas in early November when the Razorbacks host South Carolina and Jacobs said he's really looking forward to getting to see Fayetteville.
"I'm only taking one official over the season and that's during my bye week," said Jacobs, who has also penciled in Arizona State for an official visit after the season. "I'm going to Arkansas during my bye week when they play South Carolina so that should be fun.
"That visit conveniently worked out that it would work the same week I have a bye week so it was good timing and with Arizona State I like the school and I would like to take a visit there so we'll see."
Other than those two places, Jacobs said he hasn't figured out which schools will get his three other official visits.
In total, he has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Cal, Colorado, Northwestern, Oregon, Oregon State, SMU, UCLA, Washington and Washington State.
Rivals.com rates Jacobs, who looked good at the B2G Elite Camp this summer, as the No. 24 outside linebacker in the 2012 class and No. 38 in the California state rankings.
For the time being, Jacobs said he's focused on his senior season and will put recruiting on the backburner for now.
"Right now I'm just focused on football season coming up," Jacobs said. "We have our intra-squad scrimmage this Friday and then our first game is the following week so the season is getting ready to kick off.
"I'm not making any rushed decisions. I'm making sure the decision I make is the best decision for me and I plan to take ally five of my visits."
