Jacobs plans Pac-12 visit

Seth Jacobs still plans to wait until National Signing Day to make his commitment but the Arroyo Grande, Calif., outside linebacker is starting to hear more from certain schools and that could play a factor in his decision-making process.
UCLA, Arkansas and Arizona State have been regularly calling Jacobs, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound four-star prospect and he's expected to attend the Bruins' game against Texas this weekend.

An official is set to Arkansas for the weekend of Nov. 4 and then Jacobs plans to figure out the rest of his trips later on. Since he's in no rush to make his pledge then he's not too worried about booking all his visits just yet.
"Recruiting is pretty much the same," Jacobs said. "Coaches are just able to call me more often now and that's been good.
"I would say UCLA has been calling every week. Arizona State and Arkansas have been calling me pretty regularly, too."
So far, Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Cal, Colorado, Northwestern, Oregon, Oregon State, SMU, UCLA, Washington and Washington State have offered Jacobs, rated as the No. 23 outside linebacker in the 2012 class and No. 38 in the California state rankings by Rivals.com.
He is off to such a hot start in his senior season, too, that many more programs could get interested throughout the fall.
In a 38-28 loss in Arroyo Grande's season opener, Jacobs finished with 24 total tackles. This past weekend in a 31-point victory, the four-star prospect had an interception and also contributed on offense with 68 yards and a touchdown on four carries.
Recruiting has taken a back seat, Jacobs said, and he doesn't plan to make any kind of decisions until after his senior season.
"I'm definitely going to wait until signing day," he said.
