Jacobs continues to add offers

Seth Jacobs continues to pick up offers with the latest being from Cal and that's an especially big one for the Arroyo Grande, Calif., outside linebacker.
"I'm excited to get another California offer," Jacobs said. "That's nice. It's good to just get the in-state schools just in case I'd like to stay closer to home. Cal has brought some really good players up, some really good athletes to the NFL and through college. Academically, they do well. It's a great program and I'm excited to receive an offer from them.

"They came to my school last year and talked to me for a quick second. Other than that, I hadn't heard much from them. They've been talking to my coach but I haven't heard much from them."
Recently, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound recruit visited Arizona State for its spring game and said he was impressed with the program and will continue to follow the Sun Devils. So much is happening in his recruitment that it's difficult to pinpoint any favorites at this point.
"Arizona State is a good place," Jacobs said.
"The weather is nice right now at least. It's a good place, they have a lot to offer and they treat their players well. They have great potential coming up. We'll see and I'll have to keep following the program and see how they do."
Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Cal, Colorado, Northwestern, Oregon State, SMU, UCLA, Washington and Washington State have already offered Jacobs, who said USC, Oregon and Michigan have been showing interest as well.
What Jacobs plans to do next is wait through the summer to figure out which situation is best for him. He's not in any rush to make a commitment and since things are picking up so fast in his recruitment that means he can take his time and wait things out.
"I'm just going to go through the summer and figure out what's best for me," he said.
"I'm going to keep getting offers and keeping the door open. I've been thinking about what school will fit me best and as of now I plan to narrow it down to five when the season hits."
