Jacksonville LB quietly picking up offers

Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast linebacker Andrew Wynn hasn’t been as celebrated as his teammate Ryan Stamper this recruiting season, but he is quietly putting together a nice list of offers himself.
“I have offers from Georgia Tech, South Florida, Central Florida, UAB and Indiana,” Wynn said. “I think Southern Miss is getting ready to offer me too, they have verbally, just not in writing yet.”

The 6-foot-0, 220-pound Wynn uses his 345-pound bench press and 415-pound squat to bowl over opposing offensive lineman and make plays in the backfield.
“My top schools right now are South Florida, Southern Miss, Clemson, UAB and East Carolina,” Wynn said. “Right now I’m trying to stay real open because I want to make sure that I get to see all of my favorites at least once.”
In his junior campaign, Wynn registered 101 tackles, two sacks and three interceptions. HE also played fullback, but was used mostly in blocking situations.
“One thing that I will be looking at hard is the coaching staff at each school,” Wynn said. “I will look beyond the football part of the school while I am trying to decide. I will ask myself if this is a school I would still go to if there was no football involved. I would like to play early in my career as well.”
Wynn has attended several camps this summer, but it looks as though his summer may be coming to a close.
“I went to camps at Central Florida, Clemson and Auburn already,” Wynn said. “I went to South Florida this weekend and I enjoyed it a lot. I liked the atmosphere around the school. I also liked the coaches a lot, they are putting together a good program down there.”
