Pompano Beach (Fla.) Ely quarterback Carlton Jackson has made official visits to Akron, Michigan State, and Tennessee State, and has a visit scheduled to Kansas State this weekend.
But will he take that trip or will one of his favorites be in contact before Friday?

"Right now I'm visiting Kansas State this weekend," Jackson said. "But I'm not sure if I really want to go. They're waiting on somebody else.
"I've been getting calls from Miami. We'll see how it works out. If they offer a visit I'll visit there. I should know by Friday.
"And I'm waiting on North Carolina State. That's really where I want to go. I just don't have an offer from them yet or Miami. The two schools I really want to go to are North Carolina State and Miami."
Asked about the schools that have offered, Jackson said, "Michigan State is still in the running. They're in my top two with Tennessee State. I really have a top four of Akron, Tennessee State, Michigan State, then Kansas State.
"Akron was at my house tonight. Tennessee State was here Tuesday."
The 6-foot-3 and 190 pound Jackson is the No. 50 'athlete' prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings.
