Jackson to announce tomorrow

Tomorrow is the big day for defensive end Tim Jackson. Jackson, 6-5 and 220 pounds, is from St. Petersburg, Fla. This Gibbs High School standout is down to a trio of schools and he will make the final call tomorrow at a 2 p.m. press conference in the school library.
"I am ready and tomorrow is the big day," Jackson said. "It will be Mississippi State, North Carolina or Wake Forest.

"The people of Mississippi State are very friendly and they are all so nice. It's the SEC and the top conference in college football. The visit was better than I expected and much more to it than I thought.
"North Carolina is just a great college town. Everyone there is so excited about UNC football, basketball, soccer; it doesn't matter the sport. It's a genuine college town.
"Wake Forest is a small school and a private school that is sit up for success. It's somewhere you can't get in any trouble and everything you need is there. I like the ACC and Wake is a team that competes for championships."
In terms of football, is there one school above the others where he feels he's just a better fit defensively with his skill set?
"No. I can actually see myself fitting in all the defenses.
"It's going to be a tough decision. I still haven't decided. Whatever I am feeling in morning is what I will go with. At this point they are all so similiar. It will come down to where I feel the most comfortable."
