Allendale, Mich., big back Hersey Jackson is a solid 6-foot, 213-pound runner that racked up 1,450 yards and 18 scores as a junior.
Combine that with his 1,750 yards and 26 scores in 2006 and you have one of the state of Michigan's better backs.
And it's no surprise those numbers have already drawn two scholarship offers form Cincinnati and Central Michigan.

Jackson said he recently took in Central Michigan's spring game and came away impressed.
"It went pretty good," he said. "You could really tell that they get after things really hard up there. I liked watching them go hard on every play. That's the type of thing I like to see in a team, even in practice."
Jackson said other schools like Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin and Purdue remain in contact via mail and through his coach.
He said he's got plans to attend the NIKE Training Camp at Ohio State on May 9 and is also "thinking about a visit to Purdue."
"I'm hoping to go out there this spring and impress some more people," Jackson said. "I've been working hard to get ready for the big camps and combines. I know I'll be ready."
