Jackson ready for recruiting action

Norcross, Ga., standout defensive end Marcus Jackson has been sort of an enigma this recruiting season. Everybody knows he's good, but for some reason he hasn't been the topic of much conversation, scuttlebutt or reports from recruiting services.
Well, that's about to change because Jackson, a four-star Rivals100 selection, said he's now starting to think more and more about recruiting.

"It's on my mind now that our season is over," Jackson, who is 6-foot-2 and 230 pounds, said. "I had a pretty good year, but I'm not sure of my stats. I think I had around 10 to 15 sacks, but I don't know for sure."
What is for sure are his scholarship offers.
Jackson said he still has not reduced his list and is looking hard at offers from Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Northwestern, North Carolina, Clemson, Miami, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
"I haven't even begun to break it down," Jackson said. "I promised my coach that I wouldn't touch recruiting until the season is over, and now it is. We're going to start to look things over and start to think about my five teams."
Jackson said he is so wide open at this point he doesn't even have any schools that he will visit for sure.
"I just haven't even thought about it," Jackson said. "I guess I better now, huh."
