Jackson on verge of announcing decision
"Pompano Beach (Fla.) Ely quarterback Carlton Jackson made official visits to Akron, Michigan State, and Tennessee State, and at one time had a visit scheduled to Kansas State this weekend.
I didn't go to Kansas State," Jackson said. "They had another commitment. But I've narrowed it down to three schools. Michigan State leads, then Akron, and Tennessee State.

So when will he decide?
"I'll decide on Monday," he said. "I'll announce it tomorrow."
The 6-foot-3 and 190 pound Jackson is the No. 50 athlete prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings.
