Jackson makes decision

Fast-rising defensive back/wide receiver Titus Jackson (6-0, 185, 4.46) from Pomona (Calif.) Diamond has decided to give one college an early Christmas present. Jackson has ended his recruitment and has made a pledge.
"I officially committed to Oregon today," Jackson said. "I left messages to both Coach (Mike) Bellotti and Coach (John) Neal, but I didn't get a hold of them yet."

"I pretty much knew where I wanted to go after my in-house visit with Oregon," Jackson said. "Coach Bellotti and Coach Neal were in my home for the visit."
"I knew it was Oregon about two days ago," Jackson said. "I wanted to give Oregon an early Christmas present. I will major in sports medicine at Oregon."
Oregon gets a player in Jackson who had an outstanding senior season. He was one of the main reasons that Diamond Ranch made such a great turnaround from a year ago.
Diamond Ranch finished their season 9-3-1 while making it to the semi-finals losing to Serrano 38-14, the team that eventually won their division CIF Championship.
On defense Jackson finished the season with 95 tackles and two picks. On the offensive side of the ball, Jackson accounted for 25 receptions for approximately 450 yards and four touchdowns.
Jackson is just as impressive in the classroom as he is on the gridiron. He carries a 4.2 GPA and has scored a 1070 SAT and 25 ACT.
