Jackson likes Utah atmosphere

Lamar Jackson took another Pac-12 official visit this past weekend and the four-star defensive back had a great time at Utah.
The Elk Grove (Calif.) Franklin standout saw the Utes beat Cal in a battle of unbeaten teams and Jackson said the game atmosphere was fantastic, the best he's seen yet.

"I had fun," Jackson said. "It was a great game. It was the best atmosphere I've been in so far. I like the coaching staff and they're balling right now.
"They sold out a lot of games in a row and (Saturday) night was unreal. They were so loud and there were so many people there. I enjoyed it. It was fun."
Rated as the seventh-best safety in the 2016 class, Jackson has now taken trips to Arizona, Arizona State and Utah.
The four-star said the Utah coaches made it clear they would continue to recruit him hard and Jackson said he was appreciative that the Utes made it super welcoming during his trip.
With the way Utah is playing and the job the Utes did on his visit, Jackson said the Pac-12 power is definitely under serious consideration.
"They said they're going to stay on me," Jackson said. "They said they really like me and they really made an effort to make sure I was enjoying myself out there."
As for his other visits, the four-star defensive back will be in Ann Arbor this weekend for the big Michigan State-Michigan game.
His fifth official visit is still being worked out. Jackson, rated No. 87 overall in the class, probably won't make his commitment for some months. USC and UCLA have also been high on his list for a while.
