Jackson likes the Horns

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Things have started pretty quickly for Seguin, Texas safety Desmond Jackson. Two scholarship offers have come in quickly and the third along with the fourth could be on the way.
After taking part in the NIKE Training Camp this past weekend, the 6-foot, 180-pounder expects more offers to come and get added to ones he's already received from Oklahoma State and Nebraska.

"I did alright," Jackson said. "I had a regional track meet the night before so my legs were kind of hurting. I did okay though and I think I got noticed."
Jackson, who received his first two offers pretty quickly, says Texas A&M and Texas are recruiting him pretty heavily.
"Texas A&M may come through with an offer," he said. "Texas is also coming through for our spring game. They like me as a cornerback or a safety."
If the Horns were to offer, Jackson may not wait much longer.
"I like Texas a lot," he said. "I know the Grffin brothers there. My family is real close to them. They're definitely my favorite right now."
If anything at the camp will lead to more interest, Jackson says that the one-on-ones would be the best.
"I was pretty explosive out there even though my legs were bothering me," he said. "The whole time I felt like I was holding my own."
