Jackson is a two-way athlete

Perry (Fla.) Taylor County is home to a playmaker on both sides of the ball in Jalan Jackson. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound prospect contributes as both a wide receiver and defensive back. So far, he has landed an offer from Gardner-Webb, and supposedly a second one as well. The only issue, he hasn't been told who the second one is yet.
"My coach said I have a second offer, but he hasn't told me yet," Jackson said.

While he waits to find out about his second offer, he is hoping it won't be his last.
"I know a bunch of schools have been very interested in me," Jackson said. "I've been getting a lot of interest from South Florida, Florida State, Georgia Southern, Middle Tennessee, Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Iowa State, Tennessee, and Southern Miss."
The talented North Florida prospect is hoping to hit the road during the fall in order to check out a few schools.
"I know I want to take some visits during the fall but I haven't scheduled anything yet," Jackson said. "I want to visit Florida State, South Florida, Southern Miss, Georgia Southern, and Iowa State."
When it comes time to sign in February, Jackson is looking for the right opportunity.
"First off, I want to go to a school for education too," Jackson said. "I also want to go to a good program. I want an education that I can major in. I want to major in business."
