Tim Jackson is a three-star defensive end from St. Petersburg, Florida that is closing in on his college decision. Jackson, 6-5 and 228 pounds, is from Gibbs High School. So far he has officially visited Wake Forest, Stanford and North Carolina.
"They are all good schools and I had great visits to each one," Jackson said. "They are good programs with good coaches. It will come down to where I feel the most comfortable. I am looking for that special feeling from the school I pick."
Of the trio of schools Jackson has seen he has eliminated one, Stanford.

"They lost a few coaches to other schools. One went to Florida. The other got the head job. I don't want to go to a school that's 3,000 miles away and not have those coaches know me."
Now on the visit docket are three potential schools with two visits remaining.
"I am going to visit Vanderbilt either this week or next. Then I will visit Mississippi State or Iowa State after that. It may depend on Bernard Reedy (RB from St. Petersburg Lakewood). If Mississippi State offers Reedy then we will visit them together. I think they said they are looking at his film now."
Jackson is preparing for track season for Gibbs High School. He runs the 110 and 330 hurdles as well as throw the shot put and discuss.
