Jackson has three offers on the table

Clermont (Fla.) East Ridge wide receiver Richard Jackson is one of the hottest prospects in the South right now. Once his video was released onto the Rivals.com network he instantly became a message board favorite, along with that has come his first three major scholarship offers.
"I got an offer from Pittsburgh today, an offer from Ole Miss yesterday and Nebraska offered me last week," Jackson said. "It's an honor to have those schools offer me and I am looking at all three of them really hard."

The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Jackson runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds and can bench press 225 pounds three times.
"Florida's coaches have been calling my coach a lot and I have been getting handwritten letters from Miami and Florida State," Jackson said. "I am going up to Florida State on April 16 to the garnet and gold game. I really like coach Meyer's offense and I like Miami because it's Miami. I grew up pulling for Florida State, but I don't know if I would ever go there because they are so loaded at wide receiver."
As a junior, Jackson caught 73 passes for 1,261 yards for 11 touchdowns. He also collected 41 tackles and three interceptions on defense.
"I am looking at a lot of other schools, but the three that have offered really stand out right now," Jackson said. "They have called my coach a couple of times and I talked to them a couple of times. They want me to come up there and check everything out sometime."
Jackson will attend the NIKE camp at Florida State on May 1. He also plans to attend a camp at Florida and Central Florida this summer.
Jackson projects as a full qualifier with a 3.5 GPA and a 950 SAT score.
