Lamar Jackson has essentially narrowed his list of favorites to four and the four-star defensive back has also carved out a timeframe for his decision.
The Elk Grove (Calif.) Franklin standout said Arizona State, Nebraska, USC and UCLA have made his final cut and that he plans to make his commitment about a week before National Signing Day.
Jackson also believes he's pretty much done with visits although he could make one more Southern California stop in the coming weeks.
"I'm most likely done with visits," Jackson said. "I might try to get down to Southern California in January but as of now I'm basically done.
"I have my opinion for each school so now it's just talking to people and figuring out the positions and breaking down pros and cons and stuff like that."
Recently, the four-star defensive back who could also move down to linebacker in college took a visit to Oregon but it doesn't look like it's going to work out with the Ducks.
Jackson enjoyed his trip to Eugene but the Elk Grove Franklin standout said he's just too far along with other programs and is really focused on those four as he prepares to make a decision.
"We're so deep in the process I just have a longer relationship with these other schools right now," Jackson said.
