Jackson has early top four

Houston (Texas) Alief Elsik 2016 linebacker Dontavious Jackson has already grabbed offers from Oklahoma State and Louisville, and the attention has come from across the country.
Right now, the 6-foot-3, 237-pound defender is taking in everything and focused on his junior season.

"The recruiting process right now is kind of slow," Jackson said. "I'm just being patient and just being humble. I'm not really worried about it. I'm just worried about my team and focused on my team and whatever."
Already this summer, he has been able to attend a few college camps.
"I've been to a couple this summer," Jackson said. "I actually went up there to Oklahoma State. I enjoyed myself a lot. It was an enjoyable environment. The weather was nice. Everybody was welcoming."
He has a few more camps and unofficial visits coming up in the next couple of months.
"I have UofH on 15th and I have an unofficial visit to A&M in early August and I have UT on the 18th," Jackson said.
He also has an early top four.
"My top four right now would have to be USC, Oklahoma State, UT and A&M," Jackson said.
USC is the only school in his top four he is not hearing from at this point. He does hold an offer from Oklahoma State, and he is receiving significant attention from Texas and Texas A&M.
Jackson was named to the Underclassmen Top Performers list after a strong performance at the Houston Rivals Camp Series, and he also participated in the 2014 Rivals250 Underclassmen Challenge.
