Jackson down to two

Fast-rising defensive back/wide receiver Titus Jackson (6-0, 185, 4.46) from Pomona (Calif.) Diamond Ranch returned from his first visit from UTEP and he liked El Paso and what the Miners are doing he did not commit.
"I went to UTEP," Jackson said. "It went good."

"Though my trip to UTEP went well," Jackson said. "I really don't see myself going there."
"UTEP was still good," Jackson said. "It is just that San Diego State and UTEP are two very different places."
Jackson will then rest for the Holiday's and then head to Oregon on January 7th. He was scheduled to visit Stanford later in January, but the Cardinal has slowed down their recruitment some because of the coaching change.
Because of the Stanford coaching change, Jackson has pretty much narrowed things down to Oregon and San Diego State.
"I will pretty much know what school I will attend after my visit to Oregon," Jackson said. "I will probably make my decision shortly thereafter."
Jackson had an outstanding senior season and was one of the main reasons that Diamond Ranch made such a great turnaround from a year ago.
Diamond Ranch finished their season 9-3-1 while making it to the semi-finals losing to Serrano 38-14, the team that eventually won their division CIF Championship.
On defense Jackson finished the season with 95 tackles and two picks. On the offensive side of the ball, Jackson accounted for 25 receptions for approximately 450 yards and four touchdowns.
Jackson is just as impressive in the classroom as he is on the gridiron. He carries a 4.2 GPA and has scored a 1070 SAT and 25 ACT.
