Jackson down to six schools

"Minnesota played them pretty tough in the beginning," running back Jerome Jackson said when asked about the Minnesota-Michigan game and his official visit with the Gophers. "They just had a couple of key turnovers."
"I like both schools. Both are cool."

"I've been to Minnesota before with my brother (Gopher running back Terry Jackson) there. I like their coaching staff."
Jackson has also made an official visit to Purdue, and will head west this weekend.
"I visit Oklahoma November 15," Jackson said.
"And I'm looking at Michigan, Michigan State, and Nebraska. Those are the only six I plan to visit."
"I couldn't say who my favorite is."
Jackson, who has been to games at Michigan and Michigan State, indicated he could make an unofficial visit to one of the remaining schools on his list.
The 6-foot-0 and 195 pounder rushed for approximately 1200 yards during his senior season at Saginaw. He also played cornerback as Saginaw finished 8-2, losing in the first round of the playoffs.
