Jackson breaks down two favorites

McKeesport, Pennsylvania defensive end Branden Jackson is taking an official visit to Colorado next weekend but the Buffs are going to have to make up a good amount of ground if they are to have a serious shot at the three-star prospect.
Jackson is open to several schools but the 6-foot-4, 220-pound defensive end admits that two schools top his list.

"I would say there's still a few schools in it but the leaders right now would be Texas Tech and Oregon," Jackson said on Wednesday evening.
"They both want to use me the same way in their defense. They're similar in their style and scheme of defense. Oregon's a lot faster but they're similar.
"The coaches at both places are cool and I can relate to both sets."
Why has he decided to take a visit to Colorado on the weekend of January 28?
"Well, they had a recruiter that came to see me. I don't even remember his name. He just gave me a lot of information on Colorado and it sparked my interest. I was trying to decide where to visit between a couple of schools and I just picked there," he said.
Jackson is ranked the No. 27 strongside defensive end in the nation by Rivals.com.
