J.R. Warming Up To LB

Jeremy “J.R.” Zwierzynski would prefer to play running back in college, but is warming up to the idea of playing linebacker if he has to.
“I’m being recruited as a linebacker by a lot of schools and as a fullback or running back by some,” said the 6-foot-3, 230-pound standout from Joliet (Ill.) Catholic. “I guess it doesn’t matter where I play.”

Zwierzynski has offers from Texas A & M, Boston College and Northwestern. He’s also very interested in Penn State, Notre Dame, Miami and Michigan State.
“I’m going to Penn State on December 7th,” he said. “I’ll also probably visit Notre Dame and Boston College. I’m not sure after that.”
Zwierzynski has 1,033 yards on the season for his Joliet Catholic team.
