J.J. Justice close to commitment

Norwich (Conn.) Norwich Free Academy athlete J.J. Justice hasn't taken any official visits yet despite some reports. However, he could be close to a commitment.
"The Penn State trip was an unofficial visit," said the 6-foot-1, 215-pounder of his visit to Happy Valley to watch PSU take on Minnesota. "PSU should have won the game. The crowd was huge though and I had a good time."

Justice is down to three favorites and leaning in one direction.
"If I decide to commit without taking officials, it will likely be to Maryland," said the four-star standout. "I want to major in Criminology and I like the fact that they're losing six defensive backs or something like that. I went down there when they played Citadel and loved it."
Justice lists Penn State second behind Maryland and Boston College third.
"PSU is a great place too and I like the Big 10," he said. "The rumors about Joe Paterno retiring affect me a little bit, but not much. As for BC, I know I could play there early because they're playing a true freshman at safety now and it's close to home, but I like Maryland and PSU a bit better."
Justice has led his team to a 2-0 record and a Top 10 in-state ranking so far. He has seven touchdowns on offense, all on the ground, and has 15 tackles and two sacks on defense.
"In the next couple of weeks I'll decide whether to commit or take my officials," he said. "If I commit, it will be to Maryland and I'll just take one official there. If I don't, I'll take officials to all three schools."
