Ivy League comes for Grizzard

It's been a busy summer up to this point for Zebulon (N.C.) East Wake safety Josh Grizzard. The 6-foot-3, 187-pounder has visited five campuses and picked up his first offer.
"I went to camps at ECU, Duke, Wake Forest, NC State and took a visit up to Yale," he stated. "I did all of those camps in June.

"A couple of those camps I didn't do as well as I wanted to, but ECU and Duke I really started performing better. I also got my first offer while at Yale. I know it's not exactly a scholarship, but it's a good offer."
Currently Grizzard claims he's favoring Yale.
"It's not an athletic scholarship, but they are on top of my list because of the strong academics," he said. "Being able to graduate from there guarantees you a six figure salary and opens up a lot of opportunities for you."
Are the other schools discussing the possibility of offering?
"They aren't going to offer now, but I could see that down the line," he said. "As the year goes on, they could find a spot for me in September or so.
"Mainly the ones recruiting me the hardest are ECU and Duke and they may do it later in the season. I'm also hearing a lot from I-AA schools like Wofford and William & Mary."
