Ivey has schools in mind for visits

Three-star athlete Lamar Ivey out of Mebane (N.C.) Eastern Alamance hasn't begun to schedule visits yet. However, the 6-foot-1, 182-pounder has a few schools in mind he wants to take trips to.
"I'm supposed to start setting up some of my visits this week," he said. "I'm looking at Georgia Tech, East Carolina, Duke, Kentucky, Appalachian State and North Carolina as of right now for trips.

"I want to go to watch some games and those are the schools I'm interested in. I'm going to go and check them out more."
Are any visits potentially soon?
"The coach from Kentucky is supposed to give me a call soon, so I'll probably set that visit up."
Ivey holds offers from East Carolina and Kentucky. What's his status with the others?
"North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Appalachian State and Duke have talked about offering. Duke wants to see some more of me this season."
While there aren't any true favorites, one school is catching the Carolina prospect's eye?
"I'm kind of keeping it even, but I really want to see what Kentucky is like."
So far, Ivey has helped Eastern Alamance to a 2-0 record this year.
