Its announcement day for Walker

"He's going to announce his decision on Thursday," running back Darius Walker's father Jimmy Walker said on Wednesday night. "He'll do it at 2:45 P.M. at Buford High School."

"He has it down to the five schools that were on his official visit list, which would be Ohio State, Arkansas, Notre Dame, Stanford, and Alabama."

Walker made official visits to Ohio State, Alabama, and Stanford, and made an unofficial visit to Notre Dame. His father played for Arkansas and his coach played for Alabama.

The 5-foot-11 and 195 pound Walker rushed for 2408 yards and a state record 46 touchdowns in leading Buford, Ga. to a 15-0 record including a state championship. Walker has now been a part of three straight state championships and 45 straight wins. He is the Rivals.com number 18 running back prospect with a four star rating.
