It will be Northwestern or Texas Tech for Mims
The Woodlands, Texas defensive end Kevin Mims is approaching a decision on what school he will attend.
“It will be Northwestern or Texas Tech,” the 6-foot-4, 245-pound Mims said. “I’m not taking any other visits. I’m set on those two schools.

“Everytime I think about it I shuffle back and forth between the two. I am looking for something that makes one stick out. I know pretty much everything I know about them.”
Mims is keeping conversations with both schools going.
“I talked to both last night,” he said. “I enjoy talking to them. I just need to figure out which one is the right place.”
The Woodlands is off to an 11-0 start.
“We squeaked out one last week against Jersey Village, 14-13. We have Temple this week. They are pretty good. We’ll need to play well.”
