Lovejoy, Ga., defensive tackle Byron Isom has finished his official visit to Michigan State, though he is not back home yet.
"We're at the airport right now," Isom said. "The flight was delayed."
But dispite the inconvience at the airport, Isom liked his trip to Michigan State.
"It was cool," he said. "It was a real change of scenery from back home.
"The Big Ten is a great conference. And the school is real big. I really liked the campus. It's really spread out and historic."
Isom has made official visits to Michigan State, Auburn, and South Carolina.
"I probably won't take any other visits," Isom said. "All three are pretty even. Me and my mom have to sit down and talk."
The 6-foot-2 and 253-pound Isom made 68 tackles including 12 sacks during his senior season. Isom is the No. 48 prospect in the state of Georgia in the Rivals.com player rankings.
