Isom getting things in order

Lovejoy, Ga. is always one of the top prospect producing schools in the South. This year is no different and one of the Wildcats top prospects is weakside defensive end/offensive guard Byron Isom.
"I have been getting calls from Auburn, South Carolina, Michigan State, Florida, Georgia are my top schools," Isom said. "I have been to the Georgia-Boise State game and the South Carolina-Alabama game already this year."

The 6-foot-2, 253-pound Isom attended the Athens NIKE camp where he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.1 seconds, the shuttle in 4.9 seconds and posted a 24-inch vertical jump.
"Right now my top schools are South Carolina, Auburn, Michigan State, Florida and Georgia are all my top schools," Isom said. "Auburn and South Carolina are my top two right now, but South Carolina is the top one. I am taking official visits there, Auburn the first week of January and South Carolina the second weekend."
Isom is ranked as the No. 52 player in the state of Georgia by Rivals.com.
"South Carolina thinks I can make an early impact," Isom said. "After watching them play I think I can too. When I was up there I got to talk to coach Spurrier and find out their plans for me and that was pretty cool."
