Ishmar knows of two trips

This past weekend, Dade City (Fla.) Pasco wide receiver Hakeeme Ishmar had hoped to make his way to Nashville, Tennessee to check out Vanderbilt's game against the Florida Gators. Disappointingly, that trip fell through.
"There was a problem with my ride over there so I didn't make it this weekend," Ishmar said. "I still want to get there but I am not sure when."

The Commodores are just one of many schools in the picture for the 6-foot-3, 195-pound wide receiver.
"Charleston Southern, Elon, Florida A&M, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern, and Jacksonville State have all offered me," Ishmar said. "Western Michigan, Bowling Green, and Vanderbilt are all showing me interest."
At this point, Ishmar is very interested in tripping to two of the schools that have yet to offer.
"I want to check out Vanderbilt, Bowling Green, and those are the only two I know of right now," Ishmar said.
As for visit dates, those remain up in the air at this time but one school is being more persistent than all the others in trying to get him to town.
"I don't know right now," Ishmar said. "I was talking with Bowling Green and they want to get me on a visit up there. They haven't offered me yet, but they said they are going to offer me soon."
For Pasco, Ishmar is used in a variety of ways and that versatility is appealing to colleges. If it is up to him though, he remains at his natural position.
"Some schools are recruiting me as an athlete and some are recruiting me as a wide receiver," Ishmar said. "I would like to play wide receiver but I will do what allows me to see the field the quickest."
Ishmar plans to take at least a couple visits before considering making a decision.
