Osceola, Ark., receiver Chris Baker said he didn't mind the cold that he felt this weekend at Iowa. But are the Hawkeyes going to be left out in the cold in the end?
"It was a pretty good visit," Baker said. "My mother really liked the people, and the team looked good in practice. I didn't mind the cold, but I think she did."
Baker said he wants to take one more visit before he makes a decision.
"I'm heading to Tennessee on Jan. 11," Baker said. "I'll probably decide soon after that."
So is Arkansas still the team to beat?
"I'm still leaning toward them," Baker said. "I've been leaning that way for a long, long time. I just want to take some trips to be sure that I'm doing the right thing."
Baker said he expects in-home visits from the head coaches of his final three teams after the dead period ends.
