Is Williams a Hawg or not
Euless (Texas) Trinity three-star safety Desmond Williams had been rumored to be a commitment to Arkansas after taking an official visit to Fayetteville this weekend, and whether or not he is officially depends on who you talk to.
Williams told HawgSports.com writer Trey Biddy that he hasn’t officially committed, but could be close to a decision by the end of the week. However his family stated otherwise.

“I’m pretty close,” he said. “I’ll probably know by the end of this week.”
However, if you talk to his family, they seem to indicate that he did commit.
“Well, let me put it like this,” a family member that did not wish to be identified said. “We had talked about it and he did commit and that’s pretty definite. But I think he would like to be the one that talks to everybody about this.”
So is he or isn’t he committed?
All signs point toward Williams being a Hawg, but until he officially states that he is, the wait is on.
Willliams, who is 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, is ranked as the nation’s No. 25 safety. He was also considering Arizona, Arizona State, LSU and Texas A&M.
