Is Wade sticking with UT pledge

Shreveport (La.) Evangel Christian four-star athlete Jonathan Wade made an official visit to Tennessee this past weekend. So is a Volunteer, again?
After making his official visit to Tennessee this past weekend for the Vols’ game against LSU, Wade returned to home feeling good about his decision to become a Vol.

“Everything was great,” Wade, the No. 3 ranked athlete in the country according to Rivals100.com, said. “The crowd was really great. The people were good. I felt like I was already a part of the team and stuff. I just feel like I fit in there.”
Wade originally pledged to Tennessee back in the summer, but then took an official visit to Texas on Sept. 8. He says he may also still take an official visit to Alabama, because Tide assistant coach Lee Fobbs and Wade’s father went to school together at Grambling.
But Wade says that no matter where he may take official visits, he’s a Vol through and through.
“I know I’m not looking at Texas anymore. It’s a situation where I may take that visit (to Alabama) or I may not,” he explained. “There’s no chance of me going to school anywhere else besides Tennessee. You can put that down.”
He will continue the Vols proud tradition of football players who are also excellent track athletes. Willie Gault and Alvin Harper are a couple of big names in whose footsteps Wade will try to follow. Wade has been timed between 10.1 and 10.2 seconds in the 100-meter dash.
Wade was one of three official visitors to Knoxville over the weekend. Defensive linemen Kyle Williams of Ruston, La. and Marco Martin of Mesquite, Texas also made their official visits to Tennessee this past weekend.
