Is Tuyo still high on the Hawgs

One of the best running backs in the Houston area continues to have a leader and continues to shred defenses with his running ability. So who leads for Houston Jersey Village standout Ade Tuyo and what did he happen to do to the defense this past weekend?
“I was hurt and basically didn’t play the last two games,” Tuyo, who is 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds, said. “But I got back out there on Saturday and we beat Cy Creek 21-10. I had 25 carries for 166 yards and two touchdowns. That puts me around the 1,200 yard mark this season.”

Not bad at all considering that Tuyo missed those games because of a deep bruise in his quad. But he’s healthy now and that could mean bad news for opposing teams attempting to stop him come playoff time in Texas.
“We’re 5-1 in district, so we’re in,” he said. “We’re just now playing for position and who we’ll have to face in the first round. We have Cy Falls in our last game. We should beat them and go into the playoffs on a high note.”
Speaking of high note, Tuyo is still listing the Arkansas Razorbacks as his top team. He said he didn’t get a chance to see the Hawgs’ dramatic seven overtime victory last night over Kentucky, but all of his teammates have been talking about it.
“I wish I could have seen it,” Tuyo said. “But I missed it. I was talking to a few guys about it and it sounded like it was an incredible game. I’m still very high on Arkansas, and it’s my top team. I’m working on setting up a visit with them here really soon.”
Tuyo does still have a visit set up with Missouri for December 5. He mentioned that TCU, Texas Tech and Tulane are also in line for visits. TCU and Tech are newcomers in his recruitment and the Horned Frogs told him last week that he should soon expect an offer.
