Is Texas safety nearing more offers

Arlington (Texas) Bowie safety Aaron Carr continues to hold three scholarship offers.
“I just got back from Texas A&M’s camp,” the 6-foot, 184-pound Carr said. “It was really interesting. It all went well. I really liked the chance to go 1-on-1 with good receivers. I really think I did a really good job there shutting down receivers.”

Carr’s performance did not warrant him receiving a scholarship offer from the Aggies yet to go with the offers he has from Baylor, Kansas and Tennessee State.
“The coaches from A&M said they want to offer me, but, they’re going to wait until this season and watch me play during my senior season. K-State is kind of the same way. I’ve gotten quite a bit of mail from them and they invited me to come up to their campus next weekend, too. I was going to go, but I’m going to be on a cruise to Cancun, so I can’t go. I’d like to try to get up there still sometime this summer.”
Carr is not in a hurry to get a decision made.
“It doesn’t really matter when I choose,” he said. “I kind of want to get the season going and play some football and then see what my options are. I’m really looking forward to this season.”
