Is soft commit still looking around

The Dons of Compton (Calif.) Dominguez have a tradition of playing their best all-around athlete at quarterback. This year David Ross (6-0, 174, 4.5) fits that distinction and under his field generalship, the Dons once again find themselves in the SS CIF championship game for the third season in a row.
Ross has led Dominguez to a 12-1 record and while leading a run oriented offense he has passed for 690 yards and six touchdowns. He also has six rushing touchdowns.

Ross is considered a soft commitment to Nebraska but is still looking at some other schools. Besides his offer from Nebraska, he has offers from Oregon, Oregon State, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, Cal, Ole Miss, Michigan, Colorado, Boise State, Utah, UNLV and more.
With the commitment of Ross' good friend Brandon Johnson to Washington will that have any bearing on his recruitment?
"I committed to Nebraska on my trip," Ross said. "I loved the atmosphere the fans and the coaches. I liked everything about Nebraska. But I'm still looking at other schools."
"I liked Washington even before Brandon committed," Ross said. "We have even talked about going to the same school and if we do so be it."
Nebraska was in the house for in-home visit on Sunday November 26th. Oregon State was due in the house this past week, but the in-house was canceled because Ross is in the process of moving.
That is a lot of stuff to deal with leading up to a championship game.
Ross also had to cancel a scheduled visit to Oregon this past weekend due to his team's playoff run.
Ross told Rivals.com that besides Nebraska; he is still looking at Oregon, Oregon State and Washington.
